Dies and spare parts for producing food metal cans
QP Mechanics specializes in designing and redesigning spare parts for producing metal cans and boxes made from tinplate, aluminum, or chrome-plated strips.
In the manufacturing process of food metal cans, punches and dies are employed in various sequences to create the can’s development and then plastically modify it into the desired shape through cutting, deep drawing, wire drawing, coining, and extrusion processes.
Edging rollers uniformly finish the edges of the metal sheet, while seaming rollers join two parts together, such as the body of a can with its lid. This operation also has the advantage of ensuring greater rigidity and resistance to the packaging itself.
